Eidos Montreal released Update 1.07 for Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy (version 1.007 for PS5) on February 21. It is not intended to modify the game, but rather to remove the Square Enix account associated with the game.
The Warlord Outfit Early Unlock, which is currently available to all players via the main in-game menu, will be unavailable on February 21, 2023. When you explore the location, you may find equipment in chapter 13 of the game.
On February 21, 2023, the Digital Deluxe version of the game will be removed from digital stores. Players who already own this edition will not be denied access to it and will be able to download and play it as usual.
After this date, the Standard edition will be available for purchase from digital stores.
If you already own the Digital Deluxe Edition or have purchased it before February 21, 2023, make sure to link your Square Enix in-game account to receive in-game bonuses (mini artbook and soundtrack) via email.
Beginning February 21, 2023, players who purchase the physical edition of Cosmic Deluxe will no longer be eligible for the 25 Square Enix members' reward points.
