Gunzilla Games, a German game development company, has released the first full episode of Off The Grid Cinema, a cinematic mini-series based on the game Off The Grid.
Off The Grid sees three mega-corporations fight for control of a tropical island that, unexpectedly, turns out to be the solution to imminent resource shortages.
Vincent Roberts is the hero of one of the three mentioned mega-corporations Cascadia Global, which is "teetering on the brink of chaos."
The off-the-grid cinema isn't directly related to the game's plot, but gives an idea of the world of Off The Grid even before it's released. The mini-series will tell the stories of "those who have already got involved" in the conflict, from corrupt executives to merciless mercenaries.
Neill Blomkamp, the director of District 9 films and Gunzilla Games, is the director of development and production of the Off The Grid cinema cycle.
Off The Grid will provide a single map for 150-man PvP multiplayer battles and PvE story missions, the ability to mute the narrative, and unique customization, crafting, and item exchange mechanisms.
Off The Grid is scheduled to launch this year on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X, and S. Blomkamp and science fiction writer Richard Morgan (Richard Morgan) are both well-known for their novel Altered Carbon.
