According to a new paper from TrendForce, Apple's upcoming iPhone 15 lineup will include more RAM. According to the report, Apple will "bolster the capacity and specifications" of iPhone 15 models.

TrendForce has previously stated that iPhone 15 Pro models would likely be equipped with 8GB of RAM, an increase from the 6GB in the iPhone 14 Pro models. However, the non-Pro iPhone models might be upgraded to faster LPDDR5 RAM, as the iPhone 14 Pro models were last year.

If the iPhone 15 Pro gets a RAM boost, it will be the first iPhone RAM upgrade since the iPhone 12 Pro had 6GB of RAM.

Multitasking on the iPhone is much improved because to a greater amount of RAM. The addition of the much-rumored A17 Bionic chip should provide a nice overall performance boost for the new handsets.

At a media event in September, Apple will unveil the iPhone 15 lineup.
