Blizzard has released Diablo 3 update 1.44, which is for Season 28 of Rites of Sanctuary! This is the latest patch version 2.7.5 from the studio, which will be available on February 24.
Except where otherwise stated, all changes apply to all versions of Diablo III, including PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
Rites of Sanctuary, Season 28
Season 28, Rites of Sanctuary, will take us deep into the Festering Woods' mysterious remains. Amid a mining expedition, people from New Tristram discovered an ancient Altar with cryptic markings. They've sought the assistance of a brave Nephalem who was willing to examine this disturbing discovery that was once left to time.
After a sacrifice is offered, the Altar of Rites will bestow mystic forces on worthy Nephalem.
Players will see 26 Seals and three Legendary Potion Powers upon entering the Altar of Rites. Take a moment to familiarize yourself with the following items.

Seals and pouches: How Do They Work?
After unlocking the first Seal, you can choose which Seals or Potions you want to unlock most, depending on your build and which abilities you prefer. Once a Seal or Legendary Potion Power is unlocked, you'll immediately unlock that Seal or Potion's power, and you'll be able to unlock connected Seals or Potions once you have the required materials.
Seals and Potions: How to Unlock them
After a number of sacrifices, unlocking seals and powers will be no easy task. You'll find yourself rummaging across Sanctuary killing dozens of demons intent on preventing you from obtaining the full power of the Altar of Rites.
The traditional text previously displayed has been replaced with a brief history brief about Sanctuary's turbulent past.
Seals R, S, and T must be unlocked first (this does not apply to Seals R, S, or T because of how they are positioned within the Altar). If you want to unlock Seals B or C, Seal A must already be unlocked.
Study the cost of each sacrifice and speculate on where you may find some of these rare items within Sanctuary.

Unlock all seals to uncover an ancient legend.
After you've conquered Hell's armies and acquired the required equipment to unlock all 26 Seals and three Potions, you'll receive a truly unstoppable force—the Wings of Terror Cosmetic, Seal AD. We strongly recommend you unlock all Seals and Potions within the Altar of Rites, not only to induce terror within your foes, but also to reconstruct the past.
Ashes Feature in the Primordial Ashes:
With this patch, you may now acquire 55 Primordial Ashes.
Kanai's Cube has also included a Primal Item recipe, which allows you to upgrade any non-crafted legendary item to a Primal Item for 100 Primordial Ashes. Only one upgraded Primal Item may be worn at a time; upgraded Primal Items do not retain the properties of the Legendary Item that was used.
