CBS has renewed nine series for its 2023-2024 season: CSI: Vegas, NCIS, NCIS: Hawai’i, and Survivor.
The other shows that are getting renewed are 60 Minutes, The Amazing Race, Tough As Nails, Lingo, and the true crime docuseries 48 Hours.
CBS has renewed 19 series, including Young Sheldon, The Neighborhood, Bob Hearts Abishola, So Help Me Todd, The Equalizer, FBI, FBI: International, and FBI: Most Wanted.
Fire Country, a freshman firefighting drama, will return for a second season, following the debut of Season 3 of Ghosts in January.
CBS credited the hit drama as "Thursday's #1 new series."
So Help Me Todd has charmed viewers with the incomparable chemistry between Marcia Gay Harden and Skylar Astin, according to Amy Reisenbach, the president of CBS Entertainment.
"It's no wonder the audience continues to grow with the series' unique blend of captivating legal drama, laugh-out-loud humor, and intriguing family dynamics," Reinsenback said.
CBS announced its second, three-show FBI franchise in January, revealing that FBI: Most Wanted and FBI: International will air on Tuesday, April 4, beginning at 8/7c.
In January, NCIS, NCIS: Hawai'i, and NCIS: Los Angeles became the first three-show crossover on CBS. This will be their final episode.
NCIS: Los Angeles will conclude its current 14th season with its current 14th season, and the series' final season will be broadcast live on CBS and on-demand on Paramount+ on May 14.
In addition to the renewals, CBS has announced an early series order for the new drama The Never Game, directed by Justin Hartley.
"This season, CBS continues to win, presenting an unparalleled combination of top returning series and new hit programs that are enticing huge followings on both broadcast and streaming," according to Amy Reisenbach, the president of CBS Entertainment.
"It is a testament to our best-in-class talent in front of and behind the camera that we have had another exceptional season," Reisenbach said.
Several programs are still waiting for information, such as Blue Bloods, South Wales, and one of CBS' latest dramas, East New York.
