A recent press conference confirms a significant agreement between Microsoft and Nvidia as well as a wishful statement from Microsoft's president, Brad Smith. Nvidia's GeForce Now, the company's cloud gaming service, is expected to include Xbox games, as well as Call of Duty, as expected, if or when the franchise is acquired by Microsoft.

The announcement that Microsoft had agreed to a 10-year deal to sell Call of Duty to Nintendo was followed by Smith, who continued the presentation by highlighting the wide difference in market share between PlayStation and Xbox. The former has an 80 percent share in comparison to the latter's 20% share.

During the briefing, Smith revealed an envelope, claiming that it contained the exact contract that Microsoft is hoping Sony to sign. Thanks to the aforementioned Nvidia and Nintendo announcements, Smith expresses optimism.

Many are waiting for Sony's response on the matter, as well as whether or not the company will finally reach an agreement with Microsoft.
