Angelina Jolie, 47, continues to demonstrate her support for Iranian women who face severe discrimination in the country. She shared a photo on Instagram on February 20 that her daughters are taking part in a new humanitarian art project in which she probably cut off her 14-year-old Vivienne Jolie Pitt's hair.
In her social media post, Angelina showed off Zahara's black ponytail and Shiloh's fresh buzz cut in two different photos. Angelina also included a video of all the hair that will be used for the exhibition.
Angelina captioned a picture of a humanitarian effort that she hopes will help Iran's brave women who are fighting for equality and rights. My family is taking part." Angelina said that "anyone may participate in the project." The exhibit will open in New York City on March 8th.
Angelina is well-known for her work on international issues. She has testified on Capitol Hill on several occasions. In September 2022, she backed Iranian women who protested the death of 22-year-old Mahsa Amini. Authorities claimed she died of natural causes, while her body showed signs of brutality postmortem.
Angelina declared on Instagram at the time that women had no need for their morals to be monitored, their minds to be renewed, or their bodies to be monitored. "They need the freedom to live and breathe without violence or threats," she said, ending with a message of solidarity. "To the women of Iran, we see you."
