Atelier Marie: The Alchemist of Salburg was released by Gust Corporation in 1997, marking the start of a whole series. Atelier is dedicated to alchemy and exploration of the world. In 2011, the studio joined Cow Tecmo, a subsidiary of the company.
The Atelier series celebrated its 25th anniversary last year. And the announcement of a completely new version of the original part was prompted by this event: Atelier Marie Remake: Alchemist of Salburg will be released on PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4.
Marie, the heroine of the remake, is the worst student at the school of magic. And she had the last chance to earn a diploma: to build a workshop in Salburg. She must gather resources, learn new skills, and fight monsters with a dedicated team: building relationships will bring new alchemy recipes and rare ingredients.
The heroine has five years to fulfill the exams prerequisites. However, players who do not wish to compete against the clock may choose the casual mode without any restrictions and engage in the meditation process.
