The Hollywood Reporter reports that accusations against Alec Baldwin have been reduced. Previously, the New Mexico State Attorney's Office promised imprisonment for up to five years. However, the defense was able to demonstrate that the proceedings took place according to the guidelines that followed the incident on the set of the film "Rust".
Alec Baldwin will be sentenced to up to 18 months in jail. Hanna Gutierrez-Reid, who was the administrator of weapons props and the person who loaded the live cartridge, should be sentenced to the same term. Both defendants continue to insist on their clients' innocence.
