John Linneman, a technology enthusiast who is waiting for the inevitable video analysis from Digital Foundry, has already expressed an enthusiastic, although not definitive, opinion on Gran Turismo 7 with PlayStation VR2, describing it as a remarkable experience.
The journalist and video producer of Digital Foundry spoke out about one thing in particular that surprised him, and that is the flash of the headlights in night races that is so bright that they seem to be the real one.
Gran Turismo 7 in VR is fantastic, but there's one small detail that caught my eye: the HDR flashing of the headlights in the mirrors during night races. I've never seen anything like this in a game, according to Linneman.
More thorough analyses will be required, including that of Digital Foundry, but in any case, Linneman seems content for the time being, referring to a limitation in the immersive experience that is caused by the game's installation on an additional M2 SSD (although this was found in the previous PSVR2 update).
In the meantime, we've given you all of the details about the wonderful 1.29 patch of Gran Turismo 7, which includes four new cars, along with PlayStation VR2.
