Samsung Is Named The Leader In The Number Of Issued Patents For 5G
The largest number of patents in the field of mobile communications of the fifth generation 5G was received by the South Korean company Samsung. This is evidenced by the report of the research company IPlytics, published on the organization's website.
The joint study of IPlytics specialists and employees of the Technical University of Berlin took into account patents issued under the PCT patent cooperation agreement or by the USPTO (us patent and trademark office) and EPO organizations (European Patent Office).
Experts have found that the South Korean company Samsung has issued 1728 patents recognizing the exclusive right to an invention or development. The Finnish company Nokia issued 1584 of such patent, the South Korean LG — 1415.
