Bandai Namco has submitted a report for the first nine months of the financial year, which covers the period from April 1 to December 31, 2022.
Sales revenue increased by 18.3% year on year to more than $5.62 million, according to the same time last year. Operating profit increased by 16.2% to 106 million yen (up 15.2%). If we take a look at the whole year, then we are talking about revenue of 940 million yen (about 7.11 million dollars) and operating income of 128 million yen.
Over 288 million yen (up 22.3 percent) was spent on the digital entertainment division (which includes games).
Although the release of Sales Elder Ring occurred in the last financial year, other mobile projects like Dragon Ball and One Piece also showed their promise.
Consoles and PC revenues totaled 125.4 million yen, while mobile and browser revenues totaled 140.7 million yen. The prediction for the year for console and PC amounts to 157 million yen and 189 million yen, respectively. Elden Ring aided this year's totaled 174.4 million yen.
Bandai Namco shipped nearly 39 million games across nine months, including 16 in Europe, while more than 14 million went to America and eight million to Japan.
