Ghost Story Games, the studio that developed BioShock, has recently announced its first game, Judas, but it looks like we'll have to wait a long time to get our hands on it. According to a recent Take-Two earnings report (via IGN), the release date for Judas has only been narrowed down to the end of March 2025.
Since Ghost Story was founded in 2017, Levine's presence has made the wait for Judas feel more prolonged. As release dates become increasingly common in the gaming industry, it wouldn't surprise if Judas were forced to postpone a release date.
Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick said that while delays are always possible, he remains confident in his promise to deliver 87 games by March 2025: "We did have some difficulties in the last few years. We are really solid right now."
During The Game Awards 2022, Judas saw some of the first footage of Ghost Story's debut work, which is impressive given Levine's involvement with the BioShock series. The main teaser focused on the new lead in this single-player narrative adventure as they limp out of burning wreckage and utilize some elemental abilities.
Judas is coming to PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X soon, so get yours while supplies last.
