As a result of the Nintendo Switch's 122.55 million sales figures from the past couple months, we know for sure that it will surpass the 1 billion mark by the end of 2023.
The Switch's software capabilities continue to impress, with Mario Kart 8 Deluxe with 52 million units, Animal Crossing New Horizons with 41.59 million units, and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate surpassing the 30 million mark with 30.52 million units. New title(s) Pokémon Scarlet and Violet launched in May, and is expected to eclipse its predecessor(s) Sword & Shield in May and others.
