Fans of The Forest are ecstatic to discover the long-awaited sequel to Endnight Studio's beloved survival horror film on February 23rd. There have been no mentions of any plans to postpone the release further. Here are a few things we can anticipate from Sons of the Forest: The Rise.
With Sons, players will find themselves again chopping wood, building log fortresses, and battling off the hordes of mutant cannibals that inhabit the woods. (WTH!?) On top of that, the gameplay and mechanics will undergo some changes.
The improved enemy AI may give the mutants more advanced tactics and individual personalities. Additionally, players will be able to play with AI companions, which will save time on chores like chopping wood.

Sons of the Forest is packed with features that are four times larger than the ones previously released, a longer and more dangerous story, and a more detailed crafting system that allows players to build each log of their constructions rather than relying on pre-designed blueprints.
