Giyu Tomioka, the stoic Water Hashira, has been given a special birthday video that highlights some of his most memorable scenes from the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba series. Takahiro Sakurai and Johnny Yong Bosch play the parts in the anime adaptation of the manga.
The manga by Koyoharu Gotoge ran from 2016 to 2020 in the Weekly Shonen Jump, and ended after 205 chapters, which were compiled into 23 volumes. In 2019, it received an anime adaptation from the studio Ufotable, which soon became a worldwide phenomenon.
The first season of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Mugen Train was released in 2020. The film was a smash hit, both in Japan and abroad. The third season, which will focus on the Swordsmith Village Arc, is scheduled to premiere this April.
