Megan Fox wrote to Machine Gun Kelly on February 7, two days after the 65th Grammy Awards began. MGK (Colson Baker, 32) was nominated for Best Rock Album, but failed to win the Grammy. Nevertheless, Megan, 36, was grateful for her husband.
"Watching you walk in humility and gratitude, as you develop into yourself and become a better man, is an infinitely superior experience than seeing you accept an award," she said in a tweet accompanying an Instagram gallery of pictures from the recent Grammys weekend, including ones of the two women's "Although those will come... and this is irrelevant I guess, but I will just never ever forget how beautiful your face is."
Ozzy Osbourne's Patient Number 9 was nominated for Best Rock Album by MGK (ultimately won by Brandi Carlile's "Broken Horses") or Best Alternative Music Performance by Wet Leg.
MGK hasn't always treated defeat with "grace and maturity." He later tweeted out, "What is wrong with the grammys?" during an appearance on Entertainment Tonight. "Those tweets have happened for ten years, for sure."
MGK showed ET a memento that few people have. It's the envelope where they read my name on it, according to the MC. He was asked to provide the nominations for the 2023 Grammy Awards, and he was able to take home the envelope for Best Rock Album.
