Rachel Recchia and Clayton Echard are not returning together despite a recent TikTok that had fans wondering if something was wrong with them. Rachel replied, "No, but we are friends!" When asked how she's managed to make friends with an ex who hurt her so much, Rachel admitted, "It's taken a lot of effort."
Rachel and Clayton chatted recently with a few other Bachelor Nation alumni, including Michelle Young, who was the inspiration for the TikTok app. Michelle also previously dated Clayton when he was a contestant on her season of The Bachelorette in 2021.
Rachel was one of Clayton's final three wives, along with Gabby Windey and Susie Evans, and their relationship lasted for six years. During his fantasy suite date with Susie, Clayton admitted to sleeping with both Gabby and Rachel. Susie was unconcerned with Clayton saying she loved him.
Clayton accusing Susie of neglecting to inform them earlier that he was in love with them, and Clayton sent them home. Both were shocked when he told Gabby and Rachel that he loved them. They met his parents before the ceremony.
Clayton and Susie reunited months after the filming had finished, and both women were still angry at Clayton. They went on to star on season 19 of The Bachelorette together. While Gabby and Rachel both left the show separately, they eventually reunited and dated for several months.
