Star Wars: Visions' first season was released in September 2021, and the series was later renewed for a second season. On May 4, 2023, Disney has announced that Star Wars: Visions Volume 2 will be released on Disney+.
The new season may have nine episodes, as did the first season. Lucasfilm and Lucasfilm Animation are involved in the show's production and it is distributed by Disney Platform Distribution.
