Infinidat, a business storage solutions company, has been recognized as the leading authority in primary storage for large enterprises by the analysts at GigaOm Radar's latest report. The group considers Infinidat to be the most innovative provider of enterprise storage solutions among the eight they have examined.
GigaOm also recognizes Infinidat for its innovative and software-defined storage philosophy, which combines high capacity, scalability, flexible consumption models, advanced cybersecurity resilience, and superior performance.
Infinidat is focusing on enormous capacity and scalability with racks that can store up to 17PB of effective storage with a record latency of as 35 microseconds, according to the report.
Eric Herzog, Infinidat's Marketing Manager, has highlighted this distinction: "We have been able to strengthen our leadership position by offering businesses a viable alternative to complicated alternatives from other manufacturers."
According to GigaOm's senior researchers responsible for company analysis and the GigaOm Radar report, "Primary storage for large enterprises is in a transition phase characterized by the fact that it is no longer necessary to sacrifice flexibility, simplicity, or cost control to achieve high performance, availability, and cyber resiliency."
