Respawn Entertainment, an EA subsidiary, seems to have taken note of player feedback and complaints from the Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order in 2019. So, in solving an issue from the first game, we'll include it in the upcoming Star Wars Jedi Survivor.
Stig Asmussen, the director of Star Wars Jedi Survivor, told Play Magazine (via GamesRadar) that the sequel will include both fast travel and mounts as new mechanics.
One of the few issues with Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order was the absence of fast travel. This is a common Metroidvania convention, as players were forced to start at the beginning on every planet they revisited.
Asmussen said, "You can't imagine how it'll be."
It's interesting. What will Cal ride on? Tauntauns like Luke Skywalker? A rancor like Boba Fett? Anything is possible.
On 28 April 2023, Star Wars Jedi Survivor will be released on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
Star Wars Jedi Survivor is a third-person, narrative-driven action-adventure game from Respawn Entertainment, developed in collaboration with Lucasfilm Games. Cal has grown into a powerful Jedi Knight and now faces a new foe.
Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order is now available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. Read our full review of Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order to discover why we ranked it one of the best games of 2019.
