ElAnalistaDeBits, a Spanish blogger, has shared a video on his YouTube channel comparing Hogwarts Legacy and Harry Potter movies set in the same world.
The characters in Hogwarts Legacy will play a new student from the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry of the 1890s, while the scenes in the film depict a time before the 20th century.
Avalanche Software's Hogwarts Legacy developers had to perform other tasks than adjust for the time limit. This was something the filmmakers did not have to do.
Due to these limitations, many of the locations featured in Hogwarts Legacy aren't exactly like the ones featured in Harry Potter movies, but they're undoubtedly recognisable. Some locations are practically the same.

Early evaluations of Hogwarts Legacy included detailed artwork from the wizarding world. The average score for the Avalanche Software project on the aggregator website Metacritic ranges from 82 (PC) to 89 (Xbox Series X and S) out of 100%.
Hogwarts Legacy will be released on PC (Steam, EGS, PS5), Xbox Series X and S, on April 4 on PS4 and Xbox One, and on July 25 on Nintendo Switch.
