Nintendo released a recent financial report, in which it stated that sales on the Switch had reached 122.55 million devices across the world, and that the company had shipped 8.22 million units during the holiday quarter, putting the Switch in direct competition with the PS4 and Game Boy.
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet sold 994.3 million copies in the first seven weeks of their release, putting the project at the seventh on the Switch bestseller list.
With just 52 million copies, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe became the first and only Nintendo Switch game to surpass the 50 million mark.
