Activision Blizzard published a report for the fourth quarter of the current financial year, which also summarized the results from the previous year. Sales for 2022 fell by 11.4 percent from last year, as 88% of revenue came from digital sales. Operating income increased to $1.67 billion in the same period last year.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II's fourth-quarter revenue increased by 7.3 percent year over year. The Activision division's growth also increased by 60% year over year.

Overwatch, Warcraft, and Diablo brought in more than $100 million in the fourth quarter, according to the company's revenue King.

Activision Blizzard intends to commercialize "live services" across platforms in 2023, as well as the next annual premium release in the blockbuster series.
