DaBaby is facing a civil lawsuit for alleged assault and has recently requested a postponement of the trial date.

Gary Pagar, who claims to have shared his house with DaBaby and his crew for the purpose of filming a music video, has filed a lawsuit against RadarOnline.

Pagar claims that the agreement between the two parties stipulated that no more than 12 persons may be allowed on the property at the same time. Upon discovering the residents, Pagar discovered over 40 persons and confronted DaBaby, which ended in an assault.

DaBaby reportedly chasing Pagar inside his house, punching him in the face and having several teeth fall out as a result. Pager claims his house was badly damaged and cost him thousands to repair.

DaBaby is also facing a pending criminal prosecution for the alleged battery charge filed by the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office.

DaBaby's legal team requested that his trial date be rescheduled for October 2023, because he "cannot be called to testify in this matter until after his criminal case is resolved."

The judge accepted the plea and a new trial date has been set for October 23, 2023.
