Darkest Dungeon 2 will be released on Steam and Epic Games Store on 8 May 2023, as originally launched in Early Access.
Darkest Dungeon II is a turn-based roguelike road trip of the damned. Players will form a party, equip their stagecoach, and embark on a last-gasp adventure across the decaying landscape in an attempt to escape the apocalypse.
As part of Steam Next Fest February 2023 Edition, players may download a demo of Darkest Dungeon 2 and explore either the Sprawl (city) or the Foetor (farms). However, no advancement will be saved between expeditions in the demo.
The whole game will include 12 playable heroes, five complete regions, five end bosses, and a metagame hub with "extensive" persistent upgrades.
