Agent Elvis's first teaser has been released on Netflix, which has revealed that Oscar winner Matthew McConaughey (Dallas Buyers Club) will play Elvis Presley in the series created by Elvis's ex-wife Priscilla Presley and John Eddie.
Elvis from the animated show is a "global legend by day, ass-kicking vigilante by night," and eventually joins the secret agency "TCB" as Agent Elvis."
Agent Elvis finds Elvis Presley trading his jumpsuit for a jet pack when he is secretly inducted into a government spy program to combat the evil forces that threaten the country he loves while keeping his day job as the King of Rock and Roll.
Mike Arnold is the director of the studio, and takes on showrunner duties alongside John Eddie. Arnold, Eddie, Priscilla Presley, Matthew McConaughey, Kevin Noel, Chris Prynoski, Shannon Prynoski, Antonio Canobbio, Ben Kalina, Jamie Salter, and Marc Rosen executive produce. Fletcher Moules is the co-executive producer of Agent Elvis.
Season 1 of Netflix has also released a poster and photos, all of which are scheduled for a premiere in March 2023. Academy Award nominee Robert Valley introduces Elvis' character to the animated world, while fashion designer John Varvatos designs the wardrobe for Agent Elvis.
