On My Block, a popular comedy show, has released a spinoff. The series itself was enjoyable and funny, but is there going to be a Season 2? Here's what we've learned thus far:
What is the focus of Season 1 of Freeridge?
Freeridge is a teen drama that follows Gloria, Ines, Demi, and Cam as they go through the difficulties of teenage life — school, relationships, and strange boxes that place a curse on you.
Gloria, Demi, and Cam are all sophomores, while Ines is Gloria's tense sister who has joined the group. Cam discovers a box at a yard sale and soon later a mysterious lady comes looking for it. The group of friends desperately try to subdue the curse.
Keyla Monterroso Mejia, Bryana Salaz, Tenzing Norgay Trainor, Ciara Riley Wilson, and Peggy Blow play the lead roles in the program.

Is Freeridge renewed for a second season?
Freeridge Season 1 provided a fresh narrative with some truly unique characters, despite its dismal conclusion. At the time of writing this, it has not been renewed or cancelled. Netflix has not yet issued any official statement about the series.
The longevity of a series is usually influenced by a few things, such as the number of viewers as well as how many episodes the series has completed, but Netflix has been known to cancel programs with shocking frequency.
However, due to the show's growing popularity, we anticipate that Season 2 will be renewed.
What we know so far about Season 2:
Season 2 of Freeridge is unknown, but there will be more information on the release date, cast, and plot if Netflix approves the program, which as previously stated is unsure.
Freeridge's first season completed the cursed box, but ended with a stirring cliffhanger (spoilers ahead!) — Mariluna Martinez offers a lifetime deal but then gets shot by the Joker and his friend. It's possible that she is dead.
Ines and Rusty kiss a kiss that was supposed to be the last of Ines' crush on him, but ended up becoming a passionate moment. It happens just seconds before Gloria arrives and apologizes to the two of them.
