The Pokemon Go Valentine's Day Event will be held from 8 February at 10:00 am until 14 February at 8:00 pm (local time).
During the event, Mega Gardevoir will make its Pokémon GO debut in Mega Raids. A Shiny variant will also be available.
'Synchronise' will be recognized by any Gallade or Gardevoir that is transformed during the event.
'Lovely Wishes' will be available for you to complete throughout the event. These tasks will allow you to earn extra Catch XP, bonus Catch Candy, or the chance to extend your Daily Adventure Incense.
Getting to Frillish will also give you an encounter, no matter which reward you choose.
During the event, a few Pokémon will be present in Wild Encounters.
The Flabébé you may encounter will depend on your location, with White Flower and Orange Flower variations available throughout the world:
- Red Flower Flabébé: Appearing in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa
- Blue Flower Flabébé: Appearing in the Asia-Pacific region
- Yellow Flower Flabébé: Appearing in the Americas

During the event, a global challenge about giving gifts will be offered. The challenge will run from 7 February to 14 February 2023 and gives all trainers a chance of unlocking other rewards if the gift goal (100,000,000 gifts sent) is met.
For trainers of level 31 or higher, these rewards include 3x Transfer Candy for the remainder of the event and 2x Transfer Candy XL.
During the event, you will be able to transform your Furfrou into a Heart Trim Furfrou.
To do this, you will need to select the Pokémon from the storage box and click the 'Change Form' button. From there, you will be able to select whatever trim you wish for the price of 25 Furfrou Candy and 10,000 Stardust.
