The screenshot is one of the most essential steps to know in order to make the most of your smartphone. This may seem obvious to some, but not everyone knows how to do it, and especially depending on their Android smartphone, it differs.
Know what a screen capture or screenshot is.
This is called screen capture, screenshot, or screen printing, and all of these terms refer to the same purpose: take a picture of your screen.
If you have a Samsung, Huawei, Xiaomi, Google, etc., it may be that not everything can always be captured. This is not a security defect, although other services, like Netflix in particular, will give you a black screen.

The screenshot process is quite simple and comes down to one main step. There are a few options available to you.
Press the buttons simultaneously On/Off and Volume DownThe capture then appears on the screen. This allows you to review the image and have a quick look. The photo is saved in a photo album in your photo library.
While scrolling, you may click "Capture more," which removes the snipping tool from the screen. This is possible with Google Pixel smartphones and other manufacturers.
Still, at Google, it is possible to add a gesture to the photo. This could be by squeezing the phone, pressing and holding a button, or even tapping the back of the phone, as on the Pixel 7 and 7 Pro.
It will suffice for other smartphones to keep pressing the on/off button. This will open a dialog box where you can take a picture.
Samsung smartphones or with a Home button
Samsung smartphones have used a different method for capturing photographs for a long time. Most smartphones with a physical Home button still use the same technique:

Note that all Samsung phones that are compatible with the S-Pen may use the S-Pen as a screenshot taker.
Some phones have an action button that can be programmable. If, in general, the camera is set to open, it is possible to place it on the screen.
