The previously announced anime adaptation of Heavenly Delusion has revealed a new double-key visual, as well as an April 2023 premiere date. The anime will be available on Disney+.

The series will be produced by I.G., and the cast includes:

- Character Design: Utsushita (Minakata Laboratory)
- Music: Kensuke Ushio
The anime was announced in October this year with a teaser visual and trailer information. The teaser trailer was unveiled in November.
The title Heavenly Delusion (Tengoku Daimakyou) is a manga series written and illustrated by Masakazu Ishiguro. The story is described in Denpa's English version: "In the walls, children are raised by robots." The outside world is a hellscape, with everything except mechanical things.Maru, with the help of Kiruko, is wandering across Tokyo for heaven. Perhaps heaven is more a distant dream than a potential reality."
