During a visit to Capcom's headquarters in Osaka, Japan, Resident Evil 4 will feature a whole new enemy-art director Hirofumi Nakaoka.
If you've seen our Resident Evil 4 news special, you'll know that the long-awaited reboot of the 2005 survival horror game will maintain its original charm while striving to improve it in every way, including the addition of new opponents as per Leon Kennedy.
Nakaoka explained how iconic the characters and enemies from Shinji Mikami's game were, in particular the guy with the chainsaw: The group attempted to alter his appearance, but then backed off for the simple reason that growing him bigger and stronger made him less scary.
The result is the Cattle with the testa di toro, a creepy but at the same time deadly figure who charges our character with his head down to crush him against any obstacles.
The developers want to leave users surprised by suddenly discovering themselves confronting an unprecedented adversary, with unknown behavior, during the Resident Evil 4 remake campaign.
When the PC, PS5, PS4, and Xbox One versions of the game will be released on March 24, we'll know all there is to know about it.
