Frey in front of the Arco della Pace in the cover by Andrea Guardino is forspoken ...

If the entrance to Athia opened up in the most emblematic locations in Milan, we could only begin with Andrea Guardino, who once a week will draw us their very personal interpretation of this apocalyptic vision. See it with your own eyes as well.

The iconic Arco della Pace is engulfed by a pyrotechnic light display, which is Frey's signature technique. Andrea conceived a photograph that conveys all of Frey's energy.

The objective was to create a powerful and evocative illustration that is capable of blending the real with the unreal, all while retaining photographic realism. The dynamism of the composition, with its whirlwind of effects, emphasizes the dragon's entrance and, consequently, the background of the action. The color palette, which played a key role in distinguishing the coldness of the real dimension from the warm and vibrant colors of the Athia universe

Andrea Guardino is a freelance illustrator/cover artist who is most well-known for being the main artist for the fifth edition of D&D "Journey To Ragnarok" along with the creative team Mana Project Studio.
