Knockout City is no longer open, but players may still play on private servers ...

Knockout City, a highly unsuccessful dodgeball-style multiplayer game, will be phased out on June 6, 2023, but before that, on February 28, the developers will begin the final ninth season, as well as all microtransactions, on May 23.

According to the authors, some components of the game require substantial modifications in order to attract and retain players. However, they concede that being a small independent studio, they cannot accomplish this.

Knockout City's few fans will be able to continue playing, albeit without saving progress. In the next months, the developers will release a free private version for PC, which you will be able to use yourself or connect to someone else's. More details will be revealed later.
