Knockout City's developers have announced the project's imminent complete closure ...

Knockout City, an online dodgeball game developed by Electronic Arts under the EA Originals brand, was released in 2021. It was later included in EA Play and Game Pass Ultimate, and the game was then transferred to a shareware version. Starting from the summer of 2022, the project was available for free, and new seasons continued to be released for it.

The Velan studio's authors announced that their game would terminate on June 6, 2023. The developers say it is "a difficult decision that is very crucial to make for the studio's future." Season 9 will last 12 weeks, although all microtransactions have been removed.

Knockout City's authors intend to release a free PC version in the next few weeks, which will allow players to create private servers and participate in a sports project in the future.
