According to Larsa Kepler's detective work "Police Commissioner Yona Lynn," one of the victims is found alive thirteen years later. Walter has been imprisoned in a maximum security psychiatric hospital for many years. There's a detective undercover Saga Bauer who is trying to unravel the case and find out who else is alive.
Walter will be played by Hardy, while Beetz will play Bauer. Both roles appear to be very similar to Thomas Harris' Hannibal Lecter and Clarice Starlingiconic characters.
Eystein Carlsen, who wrote and executive produced the film ("Lillehammer," "There is a way out," "Dag"), is still negotiating the project. A+E Studios and Range Studios are engaged in the production.
