Due to a surge in domestic demand, Russian microelectronics studios have increased their revenues ...

Kommersant quotes the executive director of the Association of Electronics Developers and Manufacturers (ARPE), saying that Russian microelectronics design companies have increased their annual income by several times.

"The dynamics are related to the fact that, amid a rush of demand for components, including Russian processors, design companies sold out their shares," Mr. Pokrovsky said, citing data from an ARPE participant survey.

Other unnamed sources close to domestic design centers confirm this information. JSC PKK Milandr, a major manufacturer of own components, has reported a significant increase in revenue several times.

Baikal Electronics' CEO Andrey Evdokimov claimed that the company's revenue increased year on year due to the sale of inventory, but did not disclose further information. At the same time, he noted that the figures are "several times lower than those that were previously reported on February 24, 2022."

All major domestic microelectronics design firms were among the first to be sanctioned by the United States last year. Baikal Electronics (Baikal processors), STC Module (Neuro-B processors), MCST (Elbrus processors) and SPC Elvis (Skif mobile processors) were among the first companies to do so.
