The first expansion pack for the Sims 4 for 2023 has been announced. The Growing Together expansion pack aims to extend social dynamics while enriching each Sim's lifelong journey.
Sims will develop a natural social bond with each other as a result of the Growing Together expansion. Some will appear straight away, while others will just naturally clash. A Sim's tastes will determine who they are socially compatible with, and who will likely be their enemies.
Depending on how the family dynamics shake out, family bonds can also be impacted.
As they grow older, Sims will also become a... Sim, in which important decisions and milestones will shape their future. Sims will now have to deal with midlife crises as well as family members requesting to move in.
The Growing Together expansion will also include a new world, San Sequoia, situated along an ocean bay.
The trailer includes a slew of new items, including bicycles, baby harnesses, a tree house that Sims must construct together, and mahjong tables.
This expansion pack appears to be aimed at long-term saves, in which Sims have a full lifespan. This should go well with the upcoming infant stage of life that will be included in a free update for the base game.
The Sims 4 Growing Together expansion pack will be available on PS4, PC (Steam, Epic Games Store, EA App), and Xbox One on March 16.
