One of the players used the Midjourney neural network to depict Dota 2 characters in the manner of dark fantasy films from the 1980s. The neural network has transformed 20 Dota 2 heroes, including Ax, Mars, Dawnbreaker, Shadow Fiend, Marci, Pudge, Doom, and others.
The prototypes for most of the rendered characters are easily guessed, but there are also some who are strikingly different from the MOBA models. For example, Magnus became a bipedal rhinoceros, and Io became a humanoid guardian with a glowing sphere rather than a face.
