After viewing her new Netflix documentary Pamela, a love story, Britney Spears publicly expressed her support for Pamela Anderson in a now-dead post.
As they walked the red carpet together during the screening of her show in Hollywood on January 30, the pop princess said she wishes her two sons, Sean Preston, 17, and Jayden,16, "stood up for her."
Pamela Anderson was the only sex icon at one time in America and still is!!!' Britney said in a lengthy Instagram post. 'Why should I disclose information about my mother that was 20 years ago if that was really embarrassing to my mother???' She responded, referring to the embarrassing subject being sold in a comedic television comparison.
Pamela taught me that people should support you wherever you are in your life, regardless of how your past was depicted in those documentary, because it felt semi-illegal.'
Brandon, the filmmaker who produced the tell-all documentary, applauded his mother's courage and strength during a red carpet interview at the premiere of the film. "I've never met a woman as brave as my mother," he said of Access Hollywood. "I think this is a fantastic opportunity for me to stand up and tell the story of her and our real family to the world."
