Ryuu wakes up and attempts to heal herself, according to Bell. He says he prefers her to walk on her rather than her.
With limited weapons, magic, and serious injuries, things do not appear to be looking good. Ryuu assumes they are in the White Palace, but she cannot determine exactly where they are going.
Bors questions whether or not it is even possible to craft swords in the dungeon. Despite his aversion to the concept, the party believes this is the greatest chance they have to get through the dungeon. Suddenly, a hoard of monsters begins charging toward them. Welf manipulates the ore.
Bell and Ryuu decide to climb to a safer floor because they are short on supplies, and Ryuu says they will have to obtain what they can from other travelers' corpses. Bell gets upset, because he doesn't want to ruin the bodies. He realizes they have to do this to survive. The most valuable item they manage to find is a map of the lower floors.
Bell and Ryuu learn more about the other adventurers, like their deaths, and accept to bring the original to the surface.
Welf continues to try forge the ore he found with little success. The longer it takes, the more he begins to question himself. Hephaistos and himself appear, putting him and his motives for constructing swords in jeopardy. Just then, Welf notices all of his friends struggling to support him and realizes that he's making a sword.
Hestia pays Bell's knife payment in a bid to honor her familial member Tsubaki. Hephaistos refuses, claiming that it has saved his life countless times.

Welf manages to defeat several monsters with a new, stronger, fire sword, before launching a massive, huge, firey strike to crush the remaining monsters. Cassandra realizes that this sword may have been part of her prophecy before the group decides to continue searching for Bell.
This episode was mediocre, but it was nonetheless enjoyable. Were we still given a lot of emotional scenes this season? I enjoyed seeing Welf grow as he has been with Bell for as long as he has.
