Today, Discord voice chat will be available to selected participants in the PS5 system software beta program in the United States, Canada, Japan, the United Kingdom, Germany, and France. The availability will continue to extend to all PS5 owners.
Participants to the PS5 Beta may play multiplayer games on their PS5 or on other Discord-supported systems.
The console includes all of the familiar Discord controls. This applies when using the DualSense wireless controller's microphone.
With the latest beta system software, there are also some additional social functions that make playing together more enjoyable.
