New details about the project have surfaced just hours after the first reports about EA's decision to cancel a single-player game developed by the authors of Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order.
Jeff Grubb, an insider and ex-gaming journalist, has stated that the canceled game has nothing to do with Titanfall 3, the highly anticipated sequel to Apex Legends. The game's title must have been Titanfall Legends, according to Grubb, and it should have been included in one of the many additional features that the free to play shooter will include.
Jeff Grubb believes that Apex Legends may be a future platform with far more modes than battle royale alone, and that the addition of a 3v3 mode to the game should be the first step toward achieving that goal.
Electronic Arts has just announced the imminent end of Apex Legends Mobile and the definitive reorganization of Battlefield's mobile title for the uninitiated.
