With the new chapter Demon Wars: Scarlet Sin #1, Marvel Comics has revealed more about Peach Momoko's Demon Wars epic. It's the last chapter in the Demon Wars saga, blending characters and stories from Marvel Comics with traditional Japanese folklore.
Momoko explained that the first thought that came to mind when designing the Demon Wars' Scarlet Witch Momiji was her anger and betrayal. Hannya is used in Japan's Noh theater to represent a woman's anger and jealousy, and these vengeful spirits transform her into a demon.
