Toshio "Foxclon" Murouchi, the creator of FFXIV Global Community, will host a new "show" about housing, namely in-game inspections of players' houses. (The broadcast date may vary, however.)
Square Enix has asked FFXIV players to use Twitter to "apply" for a potential featured house on Mister Foxclon's Neighborhood. First and foremost, they will need to include the hashtag #FFXIVHousing, the owner or free company's name, their address, and two screenshots.
Here is an example of a tweet from the Lodestone community that explains a theme and who they are going for, but Square Enix will not pick houses with a specific theme in the first episode of the broadcast.
Although nobody has yet to purchase an apartment or house in FFXIV, it may happen due to gameplay changes. In 2022, a housing lottery system was implemented and refined, as are Square Enix's other housing options. In the 6.3 update, additional wards were added.
Final Fantasy XIV is now available on PS4, PS5, and PC. On March 2, 2023, Mister Foxclon's Neighborhood will air at 3am PT/6am ET/12pm CET/8pm JST.
