Gran Turismo 7 VR has been dubbed as an incredible achievement by those who have had the chance to try the new version of Polyphony Digital's driving game on PlayStation VR2 starting on February 22nd.
As you may have noticed, we have tested PlayStation VR2, and their reactions to the new virtual reality headset are quite positive, with the only exception of the fact that they are eager to explore the situation in the coming months.
The Gran Turismo 7 update sounds like a worthwhile one, especially if you have previously enjoyed the driving game exclusively on PlayStation. According to Ryan McCaffrey of IGN, the experience developed for the occasion enhances the series' simulation mechanics.
McCaffrey has expressed his gratitude for the feedback that the controllers and the viewer are able to give, which significantly increases the player's ability to perceive what is happening in the game, which is obviously fundamental for a racer.
In short, the VR mode seems to be able to make a difference, elevate not only the visual rendering but also, above all, the gameplay, bringing it to new heights.
