Hasbro: A New Star Wars Vintage Collection and Black Series Have Been Unveiled

Hasbro: A New Star Wars Vintage Collection and Black Series Have Been Unveiled ...

Hasbro Pulse conducted a livestream on Wednesday to showcase new Star Wars Vintage Collection and Black Series toys. All but one of these figures will be available for preorder when they are available. This is a big shift from what Hasbro normally does.

On the one hand, the 6-18 month delay between preorder and delivery was beginning to wear out. On the other hand, there's still a persistent worry that this might make scalpers more aggressive in clearing out stock.

Firstly, let's start with the 3.75′′ Vintage Collection:

Weequay is a term used in the English language.Weequay is a common occurrence in the United Kingdom.Weequay is a term used to refer to Weequay.

FINALLY!

Repacks may be the bane of most collectors' existence, but I think we can all agree that this one needs to be rereleased for a while. Those of us who own Jabba's Sail Barge or Tatooine Skiff likely need a few.

The figure will cost $16.99 and will be available at most major stores this summer.

Admiral Piett has been reprimanded for this.

Another waitlist for Star Wars' most famous Imperial officers has arrived, and it looks fantastic. Even if you don't like him, he can still fill in as a nameless commander for your Empire displays.

Firmess Piett deserves so much more.

The price of a ticket will be $16.99 and will be available at most major shops this summer.

Darth Vader (Death Star II)

I have enough Vaders on my shelf to avoid the most recent Dark Times release. This one, however, might be too good to pass up. Just look at that portrait...and the articulation...and the cape!

Hasbro, no matter how hard I try, you're just too tough to quit.

The item will be available at most major retailers for $16.99 and will be available this summer.

Andor, a Phase II Clone Trooper.

This might seem like a bad reason for a repack, but it is actually a desperately needed upgrade to the old clone body mold, which is fantastic. It's still too expensive to replace my other plain Phase II clones, but I wish they had those wonderful normal-looking legs.

The product will be available at most major retailers for $16.99.

Captain Howzer of the Clone

Settle down to what I mean by the legs?

Captain Ballast was incorrectly named as the original Bad Batch 4-pack. It's the exact same figure, but with a different card back.

Captain Howzer will be available at most major stores for $16.99 per month this summer.

Han Solo (Return of the Jedi)

I have all of the Han Solo figures I need to have, but this is a great upgrade if you still need one.

The figure will retail for $16.99 from most major shops this summer.

The Clone Trooper Multipack for Phase II (212th)

I can't help but notice how stunning this new clone body is. I've got no reason to re-post my 212th group, but with how great these are (and the addition of Lieutenant Waxer), I'm sure I'll have some FOMO if I don't get this one.

The multi-pack will retail for $55.99, which is $13.99 per troop, which is okay, but it's nonetheless impressive considering it's been released this summer only from Hasbro Pulse and Shop Disney.

Starkiller is a game that includes a slew of extra-strategy devices.

The eyebrows do look better than they did in 2013, but they're still a bit wobbly. Still, it's nice that folks who want this figure may finally get him.

Starkiller will be available at most major shops for $16.99 this summer.

The Pipeline Reapers Information

  • Luke Skywalker (Book of Boba Fett): Meh
  • Obi-Wan and Battle Damaged Vader 2-pack: Even though we know this is going to be absurdly overpriced, it’s going to be hard to pass up.
  • Speeder Bike (Mandalorian): Meh
  • N1 Star Fighter (Mandalorian): Holy crap. I assumed like most folks that this would be a HasLab project. Now we just have to wait and see if the final product is worth whatever absurdly high price Hasbro attaches to it.

Examine the 6′′ scale Black Series models.

Darth Vader (Revenge of the Jedi)

This will be a Star Wars Celebration exclusive that includes a poster and a cool-looking Vader repaint. Is the $33.99 too much? Of course! There should also be some that will be available for sale on Hasbro Pulse when the convention comes to an end.

Ki-Adi Mundi

A nice-looking Jedi figure if you want one. Unfortunately, it will be available in the spring...of 2024 only from a fan channel (i.e. online toy retailer).

There is currently no price listed for Hasbro, most likely because Chris Cocks, the company's CEO, hopes to boost prices even further by then.

Jesse, the Clone Commander, is on the lookout for a job.

This one is a cheap egg substitute from Hasbro. Unfortunately, it will cost $27.99 as part of their upcoming Collector Con event.

The figure will also be available for preorder next month (with a predestined arrival this summer), but we all know how this goes with Wally World.

Endor, a rebel cop.

A rebel trooper with interchangeable faces is a fantastic idea, especially when one of those faces allows you to make him a Commander Rex (and don't even try to convince me that Nik Sant is who he is).

This is a "deluxe" item due to a single feature, which will retail for $33.99 this summer.

The Pipeline Reveals What It Is Like

  • Luke Skywalker & Grogu Build-up Pack: I’m gonna go out on a limb and predict this will be priced at $75. I encourage Hasbro to prove me wrong.
  • Deluxe Darth Malgus: Gotta love the sense of dread that the “deluxe” label carries.
  • Ahsoka Loyalist Helmet: I don’t buy many roleplay items, but this is worth checking out when it arrives.
