These experiences, from Bill and Frank's initial encounter until their last, were both romantic and heartbreaking. In episode 3, we examine what wine the couple drank.
The Last of Us' third episode has been the most talked about so far, often revealing how fantastic a game it is. We also learned about the vulnerable side of the gruff and untrustworthy survivalist.
Two scenes from episode 3 stood out, one of which was when Bill and Frank first met and when they both left the post-apocalyptic world at the end. One thing they both loved on both occasions was a good bottle of wine with dinner.

In The Last of Us, what wine did Frank and Bill consume?
Frank commented on how surprised he was when Bill chose which wine to pair Bill's rabbit dishes.
Bill's red wine was a Beaujolais, or more specifically a Louis Jadot Beaujolais-Villages. Despite its fancy name and French origins, this type of wine is actually quite affordable. Usually around £12/$14, this is certainly not going to break the bank for anyone wanting to enjoy a decent bottle of plonk for dinner – maybe without the rabbit.
Although Bill had access to a store full of cheaper wines at his disposal, he still chose the lower-cost ones. Perhaps all of the excellent wines like Cabernet Sauvignon and Chateau Cheval Blanc had already been purchased – after all, beggars can't be choosers in the post-apocalypse.
