More than 32.1 million PS5 units have been shipped internationally since the end of the fiscal year that ended on 31 December 2022. Out of the 32.1 million, a total of 7.1 million PS5 units were shipped during the three months that ended on 31 December 2022.
Another interesting statistic is that as of 31 December 2022, there are 46.4 million PS Plus subscribers and 112 million monthly active users on the PS Network. PS5 and PS4 software combined sold 86.5 million units during the three months ended on 31 December 2022, with 20.8 million being first-party titles.
Last month, Sony CEO Jim Ryan announced that the PS5 has sold more than 30 million units worldwide. Back in September 2022, the console sold about 25 million units.
Jim Ryan said that December 2022 was the most successful PlayStation 5 console sales since the COVID-19 epidemic.
