Nick Offerman plays Bill in HBO's The Last Of Us in Episode 3 of Season 1. Despite appearing in a video game adaptation, he has recently denied that he has played one game in over 25 years. That game is also the original Banjo-Kazooie (1998) from Rare Studios.
Offerman said yes while he was on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Wednesday night in the United States.
He replied, "I'll take it."
Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann direct the series The Last Of Us, based on Naughty Dog's critically acclaimed video game with the same name that was developed exclusively for PlayStation platforms. The series is executive produced by Carolyn Strauss, Evan Wells, Carter Swan, and Rose Lam, who also direct the series.
The Last Of Us is set 20 years after modern civilization has been ravaged. Joel, a hardened survivor, is hired to smuggle Ellie, a 14-year-old girl, out of a harsh quarantine zone. What begins as a small job soon becomes a brutal and heartbreaking journey as they both must travel the United States and depend on one another for survival.
Pedro Pascal as Joel, Bella Ramsey as Ellie, Gabriel Luna as Tommy, Nico Parker as Sarah, Murray Bartlett as Bill, Melanie Lynskey as Riley, Merle Dandridge as Marlene, Lamar Johnson as Henry, Graham Greene as Marlon, and Ashley Johnson and Troy Baker play the roles.
